The question was the one asked by Bob Dylan: "How many roads must a man walk down...?"

Theres a couple of trailers floating about, it looks good, but judging from the trailers they have sacrificed integrity for political correctness. Which sucks. And is no wonder Douglas Adams didnt want the movie made.

He spent about 15 years trying to get it made. He even wrote a new character especially for the movie. Integrity is difficult to attain with a project like this, as there are already at least three wholly contradictory versions of the tale. I'd be surprised if the movie didn't contradict them all.

He did? what is the name of this new character? and was he indeed used in the movie?

His name is Humma Kavula and he's played by John Malkovich. He's the leader of a cult apparently.

The movie will actually be the ninth incarnation of the Hitchhiker's story. It previously appeared as a radio series, a record album, a novel, a television series, a computer game, a stage show, a comic book and a towel. (I'm not making this up!)
