How far would you drive or fly to go to an apostofest? Or how far have you driven to get to one?
I plan on going to the one in Wisconsin in July........just 2400 miles round trip...... by car.
They better have cold Canadian beer.... or else I'll smuggle some through the border....
It always makes me smile when I see folks grumbling about a 2-3 hour trip to a Fest.
I have over a three hour boat ride and a four hour drive, just to get to either of the two Scottish international airports. If it's a Fest across the pond you can usually add on average another nine hours flight time to that, else a further seven hours drive to Englishman's BBQ.
But ya know, it's worth it!!!
I'd travel far. Very far, in fact.
The real question for me, though, is: "How much would SPEND on travel to go to an apostafest".
Money is a bit of an issue for me right now.
Time and distance are not a concern for me at all...!

I live in the Netherlands, close to the German border.
Last year GermanXJW and I drove to English-Man's BBQ, camped there and then drove
back 1000 km. 2000 km. total
At the bbq we met people from Norway, Texas, Florida and more.
The sky's the limit.

What to bring: Sleeping bag, something for the BBQ and a bottle of something to drink ............... (And some books to burn )

I am in Quebec from May 2 to the 6th for my son's year end school trip....We are busy during the day with "kid stuff" but once night time falls, I am on my own...( soon as I knock all the kids out to sleep..lol)

I would say Montreal sound great for one.But it isnt an apostofest but a wonderful meeting of about 200-300 EX JWs In Pennsylvania on the 14th of Oct takes me 9 hours to drive there ---- GREAT TIME to be had by me.
But I was considering the E mans Barbqu----- sound exta special -but I am a teetotaler so I dont want to be a wet weak!!!! So I will go in spirit....
