Just checking in....I miss talking in chat, we always had so much fun....However, there is still yahoo. I am off of school for the summer and have been reading posts, trying to keep up!

My Daughter just got a new Cadillac SUV. Silver colored. I can't remember what it is.

But she and the kids love it! ( I haven't seen it yet but love the white ones I have seen going down the road.)

She co-owns and runs a limo service..They have a Stretch Hummer..A stretch Chrysler 300 and a stretch Lincoln Towncar (Nice)

If you want someone to try out that convertible..I would be happy to take it for a test drive for you

Tried my hand at plumbing this afternoon, got most of the job done. Had to bust of the old knobs with a wood chisel and a dead blow hammer on the sink to get to the valve seats.

It's been one of those things where I thought I couldn't handle the job, to leave it to the professionals, well I tackled it myself today. I need to remind myself to think like a mechanic, all I've left to do is reseat the bottom drain. The new PVC elbow and down tube is leaking but I made quite a bit of progress, all things considered.

Also started with my weight training this AM. Hoping I stay with it. Discipline, Discipline, Discipline...

It's Saturday morning and I should be sleeping in but I'm NOT!..had to take my son to work for 6 a.m. because I need the car later.

Hubby has just taken the other kids to a Tech/Computer/robotics show which I'm sure they will enjoy.

So I'm alone.. Finally,.. I'm just never alone!!.

Ocassionally when this happens it is just so cool .. being alone.

Weight training done this AM. 100 reps. Day two...mission accomplished.

Went to try and go pay bills, get a couple of things done. I left without my money, on the way home, traffic was a nightmare on account of a community wide block party. Parking on the block is attrocious, I've resigned myself to staying home in hibernation. Weekend getting around can be even worse than during the regular week. I was fed up. Anything that needs to be done will just have to wait. Checking in and Checking out!!!

Not complaining so much as I would normally have prefered to stay in on a day like this. I guess I may've unconciously set myself up so this would happen. I do that a lot, don't you know?
