The 1000-year reign of Jesus and the 144,000 are completed by verse 7 of Revelation 20:

7 Now as soon as the thousand years have been ended, Satan will be let loose out of his prison....15 Furthermore, whoever was not found written in the book of life was hurled into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21 shows that the 144,000 return to earth after having served their purpose for going to heaven:

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

I find a strange paradox in the new earth when the New Jerusalem (including the Father and Son's throne) comes down here (Rev. 21:1 and 22:3). How can the people described in 22:15 exist anywhere on earth (albeit not in the city New Jerusalem) and we still have a new earth?

Sounds to me like he put his life in God's hands and trusted him to handle the rest. He was less concerned with what would happen after he died than he was with how he lived his life. His concerns were put to rest because he was surrounded by the people he loved when he died. Sounds like a very nice sentiment to me. I, for one, am glad this man died happy.

Funny how you made a bunch of wild assumptions so as to draw people in and use this man's obituary as a chance to witness.

Do you also use the obits to distribute tracts to those who have lost a loved ones in death?

    Kenneson,

I find a strange paradox in the new earth when the New Jerusalem (including the Father and Son's throne) comes down here

    Again, here's verse 2 of Revelation 21:

I saw also the holy city, New jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Did you disagree that the "bride" of Christ is the 144,000? According to the above quoted text, isn't the "holy city, New jerusalem" the 144,000? .

If the New Jerusalem is the 144,000 and is to be located on earth, and if the Father and the Son's throne is also here on earth (Rev. 22:3: "But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in (the city), and his slaves will render him sacred service," my question is where are those mentioned in Rev. 22:15 located? They may not be among the 144,000, but how can those outside be anywhere else but on earth? Doesn't sound like everything on earth has been made new in that verse (see Rev. 21:5).

Brother schizzy, you should get your theologies half ways right before you go off on tangents. But then, what do ya expect from a dub?

    Ken,

and if the Father and the Son's throne is also here on earth

You've got to be kidding, right? God's throne, here on earth? LOL Do you actually think that there is enough space on earth to contain God? There's a scripture that states that there are areas much larger than the earth that can't contain God". Get real, will you Kenneson!!!
