Things are going well in my little universe. Things are slowing down workwise from the non-stop hectic pace we've had since December, a nice breather. On the homefront, the hubby is becoming more and more inactive as he finds more and more items he disagrees with the WTS on. Makes for a more peaceful environment.
All in all, pretty good, thanks for asking.

I'm not from Ohio, but from Iowa, where we also had buckeyes! So your post caught my attention and brought back pleasant memories!
I lived in New Lexington and Zanesville, OH for about a year. I miss it up there. I'm back in my home state of South Carolina now.

My partner and I live in Kettering. I was raised in Middletown but moved to Dayton after my split from the Borg. Your post made me laugh. It reminded me of the awful candy my grandmother use to make that she called buckeyes. I don't know if they were really called that but they looked just like them. They were hard as rocks and I won't even begin to explain what they tasted like. Anyway we would hide behind the fence at the KH and throw them at the wordly kids in the neighborhood. That was the only way to get their attention since we weren't allowed to speak to them, unless of course we were going to preach to them. You know the old JW saying about bad associations spoiling useful habits. I guess I turned out to be the bad association! Who knew!! Anyway that memory brings back happy thoughts so thanks for sending a smile my way.

I live just west of Downtown Cleveland, although I grew up smack dab in the hole that is right between Akron & Canton.
I knew a JW family from Wadsworth, almost killed a Witness girl from there for screwing around with my ex husband. (Oh yeah, he was a REAL catch... [8>]) she was bit-time S.O.T.U. (Slut Of The Universe)... e-mail me and I'll see if you know her!
I'd love to do an X-Dub-meet & greet, wouldn't mind a couple of hour drive to get together with you...
