I have not seen ANY help in moving. The last experience I had (as a person who is out) was my parents moving. This was their congregation. They are in a very small congo. (60) I had to go to a young brothers house for help. My dad, who is over 70, was moving things literally on his back. I mean strapping washers and dryers to his back. I finally went and asked a young brother to come over since I was afraid of my father having a heart attack. The young brother came over and helped...but why did it take me asking? Lots of brotherly love. ugh!

It's called love. We have love among ourselves. It is proper and right for us to help each other for us to save money. That is what Christianity is about.

"Don't know where you live, but in all the moves I made as a witness, I was not offered assistance by other witnesses. I've been ripped off!! Maybe I should just send each congregation I was a part of a bill for their share of the moving expenses?" Maybe the problem is you. When we moved, many, actually too many, came and helped us packed. They even called ahead to the overseers of the congregation to where we were going and have never met anyone. Many who had never met us offered to help us unpack too. So, the organization is what YOU make of it, not what it does to you.

Well, Anasazi, aren't we feeling a bit self-righteous today?

Valiant boy. I don't even know what self rightous is. I was just explaining things as they were. Do you have a problem with that?

Naw, we just have had it with self righteous people and are sensitive when people who come in here, with no bio posted, and no tact shown in their very first posts start spouting sarcasm.

By the way, welcome to the forum.

I'm sure Christians have love among themselves, but Jehovah's Witnesses have love only for members of their clique. If you don't belong to a clique you're finished. They won't bend a finger to save your life. I know it too well - I was in that worthless cult for 20 years. Walter

Fight fire with fire. It is the only way I know how to deal with you people. The love of the Christ hasn't worked since you all rejected it.

What I wonder is: If you feel that this is a worthless cult then why are any of you all tell me that to my face at the meetings or in service or anywhere else but on the internet????
