The controversy over whether or not to install a roll of toilet paperover or under has long been the subject of countless articles, polls, studies by major universities, psychologists, psychiatrists and sociologists for decades. It is a subject that has captured endless attention and debate.

Even Advice Columnist Ann Landers said herself that it was the most controversial issue in her column’s 31-year history, and one that garnered the most responses – over 15,000.

may be it is an age thing, but now paper, installed over, to see the count, is only a preliminary action, I have to spend time at the sink, with warm water and a washcloth to really feel well done.

I've never been that anal when it come toilet paper so I can't tell you. As long as it keeps my finger from getting dirty over or under makes no difference to me.

    Over.

I was used to the under roll. I became one  of those people who thought there was a right way and a wrong way.

Anyway, I place it over and not under anymore. Can't imagine why I was so fussy.

Does anyone still use toilet paper with a floral print?

Don't worry which way the roll goes.
Use the white one and don't give a Sh*t.

Over. That way it places the free edge closer to the user, it also looks better.

If you stick to the rule: one sheet up, one sheet down, one to polish, it's s.easier to keep a tally if "over". Economy in all things. If you are affluent enough not to have to count, let your butler convey it to you on a silver tray.
