While cleaning cupboards today, I had Court TV on in the other room, listening to the commentary about the MJ trial.

I was pretty surprised when they started talking about his going back to Jehovah's witnesses and that he had taken his children to a Kingdom Hall in Solvang (near where he lives) around Easter time. So it was for the Memorial. They said that since then, he has been attending pretty regularly with his kids, but that because he is disfellowshipped (and they had this information correct, saying he wrote a letter disassociating himself many years ago, but that he is technically disfellowshipped) no one will talk to him.

So, is he trying to make a comeback? Does anyone know?

I was literally standing there with my mouth open.

D. ABRAMS: Stacy, you saw Michael Jackson this weekend? You kind of bumped into him?

BROWN: Yes, you know, I did. I saw Michael Jackson on Sunday. We were at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. I happen to be a Jehovah's Witness. Michael used to be a Jehovah's Witness. And he brought the kids, the three kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket, to the Kingdom Hall. We had a special program, and he attended. And the kids, I got to say, very good-looking kids and very well behaved.

D. ABRAMS: And Michael probably knew you were coming up as a witness to testify against him. And yet, you said he was still pretty nice to you, huh?

BROWN: Well, he was. You know, there was one eerie moment. Michael -- after the -- after the meeting was over, Michael approached me. He said -- he asked me, was the Bible that he had in his hand -- did it belong to me? And you know, I was stunned. I said, No, you know, it's not mine. And it turned -- you know, I don`t know. He turned around, went back in for a moment and came back out.

D. ABRAMS: Yes. That sounds like to me a rap. You know, like, when you're -- when you're trying to get someone's attention of the -- you know, like, you say, Hey, is this -- is this your Bible, or is this your whatever? And I don`t know. Anyway. All right.

Stacy Brown, good to see you. We`re looking forward to you being able to discuss this case again.

BROWN: OK.

I'm sure it is for self-serving reasons. It looks good. I wonder how much pressure his mother has been putting on him? I'm not surprised. Many pedophiles get religion when they get caught. Works befitting repentance, you know.

MJ has a niece named Stacy Brown. Rebbie's daughter.

She would be in her 30's by now.

Could it have been the same person? Or just a coincidence??

Yesterday, Jackson again declared his innocence, during an interview with the Reverend Jesse Jackson.

MICHAEL JACKSON, ACCUSED OF CHILD MOLESTATION: I gain strength from God. I believe in Jehovah God very much. And I gain strength from the fact that I know I'm innocent. None of these stories are true. They're totally fabricated. It's very bad. And it's very, very painful. And I pray a lot. And that's how I deal with it.

And I'm a strong person. I'm a warrior. And I know what's inside of me. I'm a fighter. Very painful. At the end of the day, I'm still human, you know? I'm still a human being. It does hurt very, very, very much.

SCARBOROUGH: Now, who does Michael Jackson pray to? Does he pray to Jesus, Jehovah? I knew he was a Jehovah's Witness before. What is his spiritual bent?

REV. JESSE JACKSON: Well, you know, prayer is such a serious act of devotion, communicating with God. Suffice it, he is sincere in his prayer, and God hears and answers prayer.

If you approach God with a contrite heart and sincerity, God hears prayer. And so prayer -- when you are going to a storm, what do you turn to? Not to yourself or even to your own understanding, but you turn to God. And, of course, that family is in prayer as they go through a storm. They feel they are being much maligned as a family.

I remember talking with them the night after the prosecutor invaded the home with the 70 deputies and ransacked the house and had the big sensational press conference, asking for more witnesses.

SCARBOROUGH: Right.

JACKSON: They felt very violated. Yet, they knew they had to go through this ordeal, and they are going through it with strength because of prayer.

SCARBOROUGH: Yes. Is Michael, though -- I guess my question is, is Michael a traditional Christian? Does he believe that Jesus is his personal savior, or is he more of a universalist, as some would say?

JACKSON: He is a traditional Christian. He's a Jehovah`s Witness.

SCARBOROUGH: Yes.

O'REILLY: Time now for "Most Ridiculous Item of the Day."

The Associated Press is reporting that Michael Jackson is receiving advice from Jesse Jackson on both spiritual and personal issues. Earlier in the case, Jackson was getting advice from the Nation of Islam. Now he's going to Christian route. Jackson says he's a Jehovah's witness. But, if he comes to my house, I will get a big dog.

Otherwise, there really isn't much to say except -- all together now -- the whole thing is ridiculous.
