Or Starve a Fever, Feed a Cold? Or is it all crap and you should just listen to your stomach?

Just listen to your tummy. Chances are, you'll not feel like eating much when you're sick, and it may be best to stick with blander, more easily digested foods. But if you feel like eating a peanut butter and jelly sammich, go right on ahead.

Get well soon, if you're asking because you are sick!

I think its, starve a fever feed a cold.

All I know is that when i'm sick I'm not hungry at all.

Listen to your body, it knows best.

Neither is right, sixy. You drown them both by taking plenty of fluids (as tolerated, of course).

You might want to clarify this Nurse Scully.

Six - she does not mean beer.

Thanks for clarifying that. 'Tis a true saying: Beer is wasted on the sick.

...or is that... The sick are wasted on beer...?? or... Getting wasted on beer is sick...??

IF you feed a cold you will have to starve a fever. The idea is to fast and drink plenty of water if you have a cold. This allows all energy to go to cleansing the body , It keeps the blood from congesting as it circulates and picks up waste matter from the cells. If congestion occurs the body kicks in another line of defense, heat,a fever.
