I got out long ago, became totally and finally inactive at fs in 1980, last ever meeting in 1986, disassociation letter in 1987.

Once I perceived their real game, there was no longer any point in promoting their org.

My Mom and Dad 82 & 79 are the only reason that I hold on at all......

I think I started really going down hill when my Mom wouldn't shun my gay brother. She wouldn't except that part of the org, and I just stopped cold. Of course they offered no help to any of us, the entire family was caught up in the gay problem.

1975 didn't help. Then I took a good look at the brothers that held these almighty positions. They really disgusted me, many of them are no longer even in the org.

A move to Arizona was the final nail in the coffin, the bros there really looked down on me because of my southern accent....an they weren't doing the elderly things that they spewed from the podium every Sunday etc.....

Elder, not elder, adulterer, repentent and adulterer again - just today he told me that he was watching lesbian porn on the web! Mind you, he was afraid that I WAS BECOMING APOSTATE.

Today, I told him it was about time he conceeded to the fact that he was never going to be able to do the things he thought he should do - or be the person he thought he had to be - and just be the person he really was.

He probably won't talk to me again for a few weeks - his conscience will bother him - and then he'll be right back to doing what he always does.

I have a hard time counting him in as faithful and true!
