Unfortunately, tal, like you mentioned in the "accent thread" a rude, loud, vocal minority of "victim feminists" tend to give the rest of those looking for real equality some problems. It's unfortunate in any "movement". The rude loudmouth's are thought to speak for everyone when often they don't.
Back to that Archaic phrase.
"Men use love for sex, Women use Sex for love"
When I was a young lad, I found out quickly how untrue that one was. Without revealing too much, on more than one occasion, I was led to believe that there was something between me and a lady, only to find out the next day she had a boyfriend, she was engaged, etc. I've been used fairly brutally by more than one woman in the past. Financially, spiritually, phisically and yeah, sexually. Do i come out and woman bash? No. That would be plain silly.
The ongoing tale that this is Man's territory is demeaning to women as well, it perpetuates that silly pedestal stereotype, and lessens there own equality and humanity IMO. The more that we can actually be realistic about gender expectations the less that the above hurt will happen, imo. We're people, Dammit.
Yes, there ARE gender differences. And they are GREAT. But women being less capable of lust and more capable of emotional love ain't one of those gender differences.
