I think that we are correcting ourselves on the inaccuracies in this thread, and we aren't taking many years to do it. That the process is faster has much to do with the fact that we do have to politely nod agreement to things we don't agree with. Isn't truly FREE speech grand?

Just the fact that we are able to openly discuss different thoughts on a given topic, is very refreshing. Oh to make my own comments instead of reading someone else's!
I certainly hope that I was not coming across with some of my ingrained jw judging. I'm working hard to get that attitude out of my system.
I really do appreciate that everyone is freely bringing things to the table.

I wondered what was up when "tract" was spelled "taract" in the screen shot. I couldn't get the same results using the web links, either. I didn't try just W, as Soul did.

What your mindset was is up to you to decide, I wasn't meaning anything backhanded by my post. I was just noting the stark difference here. If you saw in a Watchtower that gangrene was best eaten with roasted garlic, you would have to wait for WTS to change its mind before talking about how ridiculous it was to have ever thought that to begin with.

Yep. That was my clue, Dave. Having written similar search pages I knew that should never pull up the result set, if there was an exact match search happening.

Not an expert in searching but reading the text made it clear.
Total voters: 15
voting list = 15 countries listed
No room for Watchtower. Also a basic knowledge of the UN hierarchy (and common sense) would tell you that a fringe pseudo-Christian cult would not have voting authority on the UN Security Council.
Some people want to believe anything negative and swallow it greedily. ... but then again some people are still repeating the nonsense about reptilian Illuminati etc.
