  This, as hear-say, has been my understanding that the Catholic Church at some point in the early centuries disguised St.Mary as being an adulterous woman... only to have her sins' reproved from the salvation of the world by Y'shua, Meshiach.

  It's been said that the particular scriptures, in regards to her surfacing as almost bein' stoned to death, about Mary Magdelene were actually put into the scriptures by the Catholic Church themselves...

  Mary Magdelene... adulterous woman, saved sinner? Or Apostle, misrepresentation of scripture...?

  I think your questions are interesting. I cannot myself address them but look forward to someone else doing so... I have read the Gospel of Mary Magdalene fragment and found it interesting.

  Just finished reading that book. The tale of the history of Mary Magdalene was surprisingly interesting, although I found that the "getting together" of the principle characters Langdon and Sofie at the end very cliche'.

  Don't bother shring the plot of this book with the average JW least you'll find yourself knee-deep in WT insight books.

  I'm not familiar with the DaVinci Code... I haven't heard much good things about it, but I have heard the one topic which you had mentioned in regards to the marriage of Mary and Y'shua; however, in accordance to the fulfillment of the OT towards our Messiah(Immanuel): Joshua(Jesus, translated from Iesus(Greek)... taken from YHS(Aramaic) and loosely translated into Y'shua, Yeshua, Yoshua) I know that Y'shua had been conceived of a virgin and could not be married to any woman... Y'shua himself spoke about those whom God had choosen to simply be for the Kingdom of God and for marriages... Matthew 19: 11-12

  Just as scripture reference: 11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
  12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it , let him receive it .
