    ...I have to work tomorrow.

So, to all the mother's and Mr. Mom's out there...Happy Mother's Day. This has got to be the funniest Mother's Day ecard I have ever seen. It made me laugh so I thought I'd share.

Jeez, you guys are so cynical. I take these holidays and make them my own --- no $$ spent, make my own cards, etc. I have always done the same at Xmas as well.

No need to be that jaded, really. It's all what you make it yourself.

Cynics be damned is right . . .I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there, and a special one to my Mom who passed away many, many years ago.

    I love you Mom.

I bought my JW mom an absolutely wonderful bouquet of flowers yesterday........she said "..what are these for?" I said "..certainly not for Mother's Day---that's pagan!" She giggled and laughed and said "...are these really for me?" She was not-so-secretly thrilled that I had done this.

What total bullshit that you're not supposed to celebrate Mother's Day. I said something to an elder several years ago about that. He said that honor was "only supposed to go to Jehovah." I responded "...uh, what about the fourth Commandment to "honor your father and your mother"??

I got a dirty look and complete silence in response. Goof-ball.
