You mean there were only "9" people in his congregation that DIDNT vote for Bush? Darn. SO much unity, they must have the truth.

As one who tries to follow Christ, I am SO irritated at so-called "Christians" who do such blatantly un-Christian things like this!Their actions, all the while proclaiming that they are Christians, are a blasphemy against Jesus.
As for politicians who claim to be Christians, well....actions speak louder than words. *restraining self from getting on soap box*

Who said Jesus wasn't for sale. Thank god for the faith based initiatives. Oh the things one can buy with tax money.
Welcome to the third right

I think if a court rules that it is not permissable, the same argument could be made for Witnesses.
Wow! Now that would be something!! It's amazing how people voted for Bush because of abortion and gays. Yet.... abortions are still going on all over the US and gays still have their rights. Boy, I guess Bush knew what he was doing by throwing those ideas in at the last minute! Kerry was a good man.... it's too bad that alot of people didn't see that because they were blinded by- Let's save the babies- speech and- Gay's are destroying marriage- speech. Well at least Bush says that he isn't a coke head or an alcoholic anymore! V for Victory! http://politicalhumor.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=politicalhumor&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fanon.salon.speedera.net%2Fanon.salon%2Fmedia%2F2004%2F10%2FBushUncensored.mov

The corporate news here in the U.S. is reporting that the 9 were expelled for voting for Kerry, no mention of Bush at all. seems it's kerry's fault after all. that basterd!

They should revoke that church's non-profit status since they are a political party operation.
Spot on.

What I find funny about this whole story....Kerry spent half his campaign with Al Sharpton touring southern Baptists churches trying to appeal to minority groups, the only media coverage was praise for reaching out to others. Problem is, both sides try to sway churches and churches like most businesses will go to the person where they have the most to gain.
