TWO POTS

My wife recieved this via e-mail. It is so good I thought I'd share

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a
pole, which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it, while the other pot was perfect and
always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked
    Pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home
only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the
poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that
it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After 2 years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the
woman one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack
in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your
side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have
always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of
the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them." "For two
years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the
table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this
    beauty to grace the house."

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we
each have that make our lives together so very interesting and
    rewarding.
You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the
    good in them.

To all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell
the flowers and NEVER HAVE REGRETS!!!!

Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

    1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.

    2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

    3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to
    be just like you.

    4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone even if they don't
    like you.

    5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

    6. You mean the world to someone.

    7. You are special and unique.

    8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

    9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from
    it.

    10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look at
    what life has given you.

    11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude
    remarks.

Ian, I honestly wish I could see life as positively as you do - you are an inspiration.

Thanks, Dansk...I finally feel happy to be "cracked."

And that list of "truths" was interesting (and rather touching) to contemplate...

    Thanks for the drink...

I first heard this story from a C.O.

I keep it on file mentally to encourage anyone I meet who suffers from incontinence :)

Oh how true!!!! Thank you Dansk for the lift ....I think it should be copied and left on the windshield of each and every car and van in every parking lot of every KH everywhere. God knows how down, how lost and forlorn most of us felt when leaving the KH after a meeting. I certainly didn't "feel the love" .
