I saw the show too. What made my eyebrows raise up was when they said that when the wife was missing for a few days, her family was very concerned because she hadn't shown up to celebrate her mother's birthday---something she was very diligent about and always did every year.

The marriage thing was odd too, seeing as how she yoked up wit an unbeliever, as much as they insisted that her religion was her life.

They said that the husband had taken her WTS literature, which she always carried with her wherever she went----and put it in the garage to make room for her body in the trunk.

A lot of things didn't add up for those of us who know how a JW thinks.

I agree with the Mother's day comment!
And also..I read the link provided and couldn't find any relating to the JW's.(The discussion link) Most comments that I read were from people in the town that were mad at the way it was portrayed.
Mostly defending their town and arguing whether a poster was a five year old..How dense can they be?

There also was an episode of "City Confidential" where an entire Witness family was killed...only one child survived. The parents did not exercise good judgment it seems, and went preaching to a carload of atheist teens. They all went off in the car together(now, I hated the ministry as much as anyone but we were told never to actually go off with people like that, I'll admit it) and were murdered by the teens, who stole their car. I believe the husband was Norwegian and the wife was from Honduras or something like that. Did anyone see that one?

I remember it. It got quite a lot of press coverage in Scandinavia. It was pretty naive to try to preach to "outcasts", who in dress/groom was a wandering warning of trouble.

City Confidential did a story based in the city small city I live in and I know much of the facts - they totaly blew it. I don't beleive much of what they show now.
