I was with several hundred people, and few seemed really concerned at all. Most were annoyed, some took it as an excuse to get lunch, and a great many of us were standing less than a block away. The police wanted us beyond Third Street, we all were on Second Street just a few yards from the LOC building. Maybe it was hairier right at the Capitol, but it wasn't as dramatic as it seemed on television...at least where I was.

What an ordeal that was. From the very first siren seems like everything continued to be "murphy lawed" ... Your belongings, your papers, your bus ticket...
Glad your safe though. Any low flying plane still gives me a bit of a panic.
