I think the guy who drums for System of a Down is really good. He puts in a lot of subtle nuances and changes up the rythym where you'd least expect it. ie. toxicity
I have to say that first I haven't read all six pages of this thread. Also Im not a drummer, but a bass player. One of my favorite rock or hard rock drummers is Danny Carey.
Dunno about Ringo, but Zack Starkey is amazing. Currently slitting drumming duties between Oasis and The Who. Dave Grohl- definitely!
