I DIDN'T VOTE BECAUSE I JUST NEVER. NO RESON. IF THER WAS A RESON IT WOULD BE THAT I HAD TO DRIVE TO THE POLLING STATION . WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE IT SO THAT YOU CAN VOTE ON THE INTERNET. WE HAVE THE TECHNOLIGY RIGHT. IF I WOULD HAVE VOTED I WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR THE GREEN PARTY.

The person I voted for got in. Too bad we couldn't have voted out that stupid drunk they call our premier. Looks like the Green party played a part in some ridings, helping the Liberals get in. It will be an interesting next 4 years. Will

I remember my first time voting. I felt very proud to be electing my representitives. I alway thought it was stupid not to vote and then complain about the goverment. I alway tell my witness family if your not going to vote then you have no right to complain. Because when you vote and your choice doesn't win you can at least complain about it.

    Very cool t_c.

I was really psyched when I voted for the first time this last presidential election. Even though 'my guy' lost, at least I knew that I hadn't just sat and done nothing. Some that were directly affected by the results of our election were really excited that I got involved this time.

(after the election my husband declared he's moving to Canada. my vote is for Europe.)

    Good on you mate

Make a difference. I've been voting for years. My first votes were for the McGillycuddy Serious Party in favour of a "giant leap backwards".

Sunday, 7 November 1999, 11:16 am, Press Release: McGillicuddy Serious Party
We are not only delighted with the size of the team, but the calibre, and are confident that we can bring this country to rights within the short space of time left to do so. We not only can boast the highest levels of gardeners and farmers of all parties, but are confident that the added numbers of pixies, wizards and witches, lay scientists, librarians and ark builders will be more than enough to save anyone who wants to stay on board when New Zealand as a country does what needs to be done, and wipes off the yolk of progress that we have been wearing on our faces for so long

Unfortunately, they are now defunct. and have wandered off into the hills to beat each other with rolled up newspapers in mock warfare.
