I always thought it was... Jesus is Lord.
Gotta get my bumperstickers straight...
Good gawd you'd think "christians" could get past these lame exclamations.

This appears to be an INTENTIONAL dupe thread, i.e , spamming.
Whoop's. Maybe not. I dunno, just looked at the other thread. I hope it's just inexperience.
I dunno avishai...you may have been right the first time...
The assumption that if someone is no longer a JW they MUST be born again Christians has always annoyed me. Guess I had too much overbearing, brainwashing, hellfire and brimstone efforts growing up in Calvary Chapel to tolerate that sort of thing. Well, it wasn't all in vain, as it's helped me identify cultish behavior when I'm looking at a variety of other religions. Heck, I don't even know how to identify myself anymore as far as religion goes, except that I accept some of the JW beliefs and some traditional Christian beliefs.
Anyone else have this same type of conflict?
Gandhi, when he was trying to get India's independence from Britain, and unite his people, once said something to the effect (paraphrasing from fallible memory):
"When I am in a Christian Church, then I am a Christian.
When I am in a Hindu temple, then I am a Hindu.
When I am in a Moslem mosque, then I am a Moslem."
So you see, Gandhi didn't have an identity crisis, and neither should we.
