Dont you think that a large amount of people would drink the kool aid?
You asked for sincerity in giving an answer. This scenario has a lot of variables-----but I feel that those who were loyal and trusting (as I was), and if it was "proven" to come from Brooklyn----most likely would have gone with the program.
I have to put myself back into that place where "the WTS is God's only approved organization" mode which of course I don't believe any longer.
