Check out the most recent thread. The last post today (by hazel something or other) is ridiculous. She responds to WTS mistreatment of rapes by saying the elders are nice to speak to you when you look sad at the meetings. <bangs head>
What a bunch of idiots!! If they are such good little servants of Jah, then why are they involving themselves with the world by posting on such sites. You have to wonder how it's influencing them! ha!! hg
Sheesh! I used to be one of these people. Cultish? Well, many of the posts pointed out that EX JWs were interviewed and how fair could that be. It's sad. They USED to be JWs but were EX'd because they told the truth. Now a JW can't believe what they say - what a great system for controlling the mass and what they think they know. Also, not one single example was given by any of them as to what they think was specifially untrue in the report (I don't even know what show it was). But all generalities - "all lies" "untrue" - WHAT specifically are they referring to. What a mental blur they live in. No wonder I thought I was losing my mind - I WAS!

This post was my personal fav. I find reading posts from Jehovah's Witnesses morbidly facinating.
:I definitely agree with those who want the arguments to stop. I have been raised in the truth myself and was baptized when i was 16 years old. My first reaction to the false accusations against the organization was anger and the urge to come here to defend the truth. but there are always going to be those that don't want to acknowledge it as the truth or who want to cause conflict . and going on to read all these hurtful and false posts on this site just makes the anger build even more. those that are posting inacurate accusations against our brothers and sisters obviously didn't know the facts very well or didn't want to follow the bible themselves. or maybe they just read to much apostate literature and bacame discouraged and left the congregation, and are now becoming apostate themselves. and those that are posting messages that aren't even witnesses have no room to make accusations against a religion that they have never belonged to. everyone is entitled to his or her own apinion but befere you make any statemens please talk to a real witness form a local congregation and find for yourself the answers, but at the same time ask another religon and see if their answers are any more clear. you may find that there are more "scandals and lies" among them than you will find among Jehovah's people.
Jehovah's witnesses are among the happiest of people.. and those that aren't happy may never have had a close relationship with Jehovah and were probably spiritually weak and may have issues that may lie deeper than any of us can see. I at one time lost faith do to lack of knowledge when i was young but came to realize that the world is not much to be longed for. And the happiest times of my life were when i was among jehovah's people and associated with others who shared my beliefs.
not all people are going to become lovers of the truth. those of us that are faithful members of this loyal christian congregation of brothers and sisters know the real truth behind it all and the reason that these things need to happen. so do not become discouraged by all of these unbelievers' statements agains JW's
For those of you who are among Jehovahs people out there who are reading this right now just rememer to pray and remain faithfull to jehovah and he will bless your efforts.

Too funny. I remember when I used to think like that. I remember thinking how I would never become an evil apostate. It's so funny how things change once you know some of the real truths. These people are so brainwashed. You can also tell they don't have the greatest education on earth. Do they know how to use a spellcheck? Hell, do they know how to spell at all?
