On the "Regis and Kelly" show, they just said that the most popular name that people are calling their babies----is Brooklyn!

Last I heard, it was "Justin" and "Emily" that were the most popular names of 2004, but they just read this from a survey!

    Kinda surprised me.

I have a cousin named Brooklyn, and the disco queen Donna Summers named her daughter Brooke Lynn.

Wow! I just never heard this as a name before! I know someone named Brooke Lynn, too, but she doesn't pronounce it "all in one" as in the city.

Ooops, Mods? I just noticed that I put this topic under "beliefs" instead of "friends" Sorry.

Brooke Lynn is pretty, and Brooklyn is kinda cute. Could be due to the fact that David and Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham named their oldest son Brooklyn after the place where he was conceived. (Gross!)

My 3rd daughter (14 years old) is named Brooklyn. It was a really rare name when I named her that, but I've noticed it's become fairly popular.

I'm a little crazy, all 6 of my kids' names start with Br...(aka..."the bratpack") (Brittany, Bryanna, Brooklyn, Brennan, Brailyn and Brandon)

As well, I have her name tatooed to my ankle.

This is funny! The Brooke Lynn that I was talking about, all her sibs names begin with "B" too!

    Brian, Brett, Bailey, and Brandon!
