    Jim W.

    Got it.

I guess part of the problem is that people have posted worse nonsense on this and other boards with no humor intended.

    Salut,

I have avoided political discussion like the plague in the last eight to ten months. The reason is simply that there is too little fair and open discussion, and too much unreasonable emotional rhetoric.

    Ain't THAT the truth!

Thank you, Amazing. I am a conservative Canadian, and yes, we do exist. Especially out West. But not too far West. The West coast is California-North, I swear. They cry buckets of tears over their spotted owls while the government coffers are bled dry by bleeding heart liberals.

For being such a big country, the US sure can be touchy. Hair-trigger touchy. Makes us Canuckians down right nervous. ha ha.

    ha.

I mean, I say something like, "God bless my permafrost Canadian soil, I'd kiss you if it wouldn't stick, thank God we have gun controls." Or, "George Bush don't sound so stupid. Have you heard Chretien lately?" And screaming out of nowheres comes a red-white-and-blue flag yelling, "Anti-American!"

    What?

    What I say?

    eh?

Us non-Americans can understand Amazing's dry sense of humor.

    Haha.
I love the humour you've brought to this thread, Jim.

It's a parody on US culture, with the misdirection towards the non-US, right?
I wonder if any of your compatriots got that?

It was calling HS a Canuck that gave it away

I think that the only one who really caught on to me was Hillary Step, who in my opinion, is one very good and sharp Canook.

I thought our good girl Hillary was from England where they let him serve as a fill in CO a long time ago.
