I cannot stand when someone does this to me. While I was dating my husband he would say "we have to talk later" and I was like WE ARE TALKING RIGHT NOW. I worry about everything. I wonder if that from being in such a controlling religion -- always afraid you would be in trouble for some stupid offense.
I am glad it worked out for you Kitty -- however, in the future I would make a stand and ask her to tell me RIGHT NOW so you can avoid that awful feeling.

yeah, I hate that too.. my bf will say, we have to talk tonight.. then all day I will be worrying, wondering what I did wrong.. when in fact it was nothing...

I did with my co worker.. to be honest it was a relief when she finally did find out
where they say they want to talk to you, and u have to sweat it out until they're ready?
My mom took a class on that... Suspense Over Nothing 102. SHe did suprisingly well. She is the master of the vague voicemail and the erroneous email.
My mother hasn't spoken to me in over 10 years. I can't imagine what she'd have to say to me now.

It's comforting to know that I have lots of company in this paranoid feeling when someone wants to "talk" to me!!! I can offer no cure---but there's a lot of us suffering from it!

I get like this all the time. I read to much in people actions and what they say and then i get worked up about it coz i thinks it because of me or something that ive said. When i lived at home i stressed out every time the phone called incase it was something bad involving me. es
