Be very careful about ~~what~~ you say to the brothers. I was put on reproof for telling the Elders about the UN they put me on reproof for saying that the Society had fornicated with the U.N. They also said that I had no right looking into the UN scandal and then questioning as to why they joined. My dad was DF for the same thing. It took him three years to get back in. All he did was tell the truth about the UN deal to the Elders and asked how they could have done this and still be from GOD. Both of us were told that if the Society says your left hand is your right then from that time on it was. Plus we never have the right to study a matter to prove the Society had done something worng because the Society can't do anything wrong they speak for GOD.

When he came back from Korean War he became a Witness and it is now a habit for him. He has woke up to the real facts about the TROOF but he was the one who brought in most of his family so he has all that pressure to live up to what they have made him to be.

The biggest reason he loves mom. Mom was making his life a living HELL she did not care about how he felt it was all about how she looked in the congregation and looked to her family. He came back to have the last years of his peaceful.

Ok. How about if someone posts the info where the WTBTS is registered with the UN on the door to the kingdom hall where these comments were made from the platform. or better yet put s a UN resgistry flyer under the wipers of every car.

This really gets me steamed.

They are getting very technical up at the ol' world headquarters. They didn't join the UN, I was told. And technically, that is true.

But then, neither has ANY RELIGION EVER. Religions are non-governmental organizations and as such cannot join the UN. The closest any organization can come to joining the UN is attaching themselves to the UN's mouth (and h-mping it). The UN's mouth is the DPI.

The WTS of NY joined the UN/DPI. If you don't say it that way, they will scream "Deceivers!!!" from the top of their lungs. Even though that is a much finer hair to split than regitrant/registrar vs. applicant/acceptant or partners, affiliates, associates.

WTS: "We have never joined the UN! How dare you accuse us of that!"

JW: "You joined the UN/DPI, that is a significant part of the UN and the closest relationship a non-governmental organization can have with the UN."

WTS: [pouting and whiny] "We just wanted to look at the pretty books!"

JW: "Yes, well, what you ended up doing was committing spiritual adultery with an organization under judgement by God. You disassociated yourself. See? Right here in the OM and OD book it says that is exactly what you did."

BOE: "JW, have you been writing to the society about being a harlot destined for destruction?"

JW: "Well, of course I have. Ezekiel said we should wanr someone away from a wicked path if we didn;t want to share in their destruction."

BOE: "That is only for worldly people. Inside the Organization you should vet everything through the elders."

JW: "Oh. I thought I was supposed to do what my conscience was motivated to do."

BOE: "Hah, hah! Oh my, no. You are supposed to train your conscience through using it the way we tell you to. You definitely should have checked with us first. That way, we can make sure the Organization doesn't get its feelings hurt by the way you word anything."

WTS: "You hurt our feelings. You are spawn of Satan. You looked at what we did instead of what we said and you actually had the nerve to compare what we said to what we did in a letter to us. You ... you ... you big meany! Stop beating us up with our own words!"

BOE: "Aw, look! Deceit from above. Clear evidence of direction from holy spirit. Just like my getting appointed."

ex-JW: "Ah. I was under the impression this Organization encouraged candor. See ya'."
