One thing I've learned: there be PLENTY of fish in the sea. There's no such thing as the 'one'; given the number of people in the world, you're likely to find a person with analogus looks and personality in no time.

In the semi-Goth/Goth clique, the dominant males are the outrageous type.

I find that not knowing if a girl likes you or not is not as bad as not noticing. Seriously, I lost out on the 3rd (IMHO) best looking chick in high school b/c I was'nt picking up on the signals, and, I have to admit, they were very obvious; and now since we live in different cities, not much more of a chance. There is such a thing as too much zen, but, really, who cares, eh?
What I'm saying is, I ain't "all that," but one is able to transcend. Plus, women like men with a future. I doubt I actually have a future, but everyone thinks I do. Who am I to argue? If I remember from your previous posts you said stuff about aerospace engineering and getting a job. You're more of a go-getter than me, so you must have a good future in store (of course I also just tend to have a bit of bonne chance in all I do in life... except microbiology and calculus).
