Having seen that variety of flora and fauna, I have to agree that it can be nauseating.
However there's a lot of variety in a wider genus...

I think religion is okay if one doesn't take it religiously. The minute a person believes others need to hear it in order to be saved, it's transformed into a harmful drug. Folks do weird things while on drugs. :)

After being Dfed, some years ago now, I was approached by the Dianetics people who are based in my home town. I bought their book (which I still have) and even went in for a "session" which was a bit like hypnosis. SHIT did I have a cloase escape or what? It would have been like, out of the frying pan, into the fire.

I think evangelical Jesus-freaks are ripe for the same sort of widespread disillusionment that has been happening with JW's over the past 10 years.
Expectation (of the rapture) postponed is eventually going to make their hearts sick.
