They want me to work the baptism pool, but I don't want to. You imagine I could just say that I'd be tempted by all the half dressed young women walking around dripping wet with their feet showing and it wouldn't be good for me as a brother since I have an active imagination and a foot fetish? Nahhh....I wouldn't tell them that, but they do want me to work it though. Can't they just be happy with me being the soundbox guy? The guy all the way in the back of the hall that is experienced in the whole artform of looking through the magazines or KM's and finding the right song, going through all the difficult task of selecting the right disk and track numbers so everyone can be able to sing? By the way, next time you walk past the soundbox guy at your congregation...stop, look into his eyes, and thank him for being there to make sure you get to sing the right song. Oh and if the microphone cuts out during the watchtower study, please...please don't be so quick to turn around and stare at him with an evil look in your eye, it just may not be his fault!
