What your opinion will the Governing Boneheads pull out all the stops?

  What your opinion will the Governing Boneheads pull out all the stops, and get meaner and tougher in thier tactics and policy making in the near future and beyound or will they become more main stream and lighten up in thier harsh treatment of the flock?

  I see a very ominous trend in the Organization that seems to becomeing more and more hardline. As Minimuses thread about a new search and destroy mission to DF'n or DA'n JWs who stop going to indoctrination sessions and no long sell thier books, calling on them asking them If they still want to be JWs, to which they must respond with an unqualifies yes or get the ax.

  It seems to me that this is the trend, which may back fire and cause the Governing Boneheads some real problems in the future. So what your opinion?

  Thanks for the link.

  I would just like to add, that since the GB and thier helpers are all set in thier ways and seem to lack any creativity, they will continue down the same path they have gotten so used to(can't teach an old dog new tricks). Add this to the fact of the internet, failed predictions, I see them driving the Organization right into the ground.

  So I going to use theocartic warfare strategy so if they ever ask me I will lie and say of course I want to be a witness and of course the FDS are gods sole channle on earth

  And , for one COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!!

  LET'em act more like buffoons more than they have already, they are letting their "true" colors show through. This is great, AFAIC.The longer they go on ths way, the more JWs will see how UNloving and UNchristian the men really are.

  Desperate times call for desperate measures----and they ARE obviously desperate! They can refine, sift and whittle themselves away to nothing!

  In the past purges have worked and the company prospered. There have been several purges instigated by the corporation. The first was when the board of directors split and the cops were called in 1917.
  
  The Witness people instigated the purge after 1975 and the corporation prospered. Purges have been good for this company. I expect they'll continue to do what has worked in the past.
  
  The hardline approach to member control is easy to see with Godly OBEDIENCE as the summer convention theme.

  I think that their hard line policies will backfire as people get to realise more and more that they have nothing good to offer to the world, thinking of it millions of people already left because they are arbitrary hardliners that can never change for the better.

  Stilla, you know though that if you state that you still view yourself as a witness and then do anything that is a df or da offense they can df/da you in absentia.

  That is why this latest question may be so insidious. It makes the fader or faded ones either choose to get announced or choose to curtail any of their evil activities. It's a lose lose situation.

  This new developement of hunting down inactive nonmeeting attenders, is a sign of real desperation on the part of the GB, it really shows just how big an effect the internet and sights like JWD are having on the Organization. They are very desperate, like a drowning man grasping at straw floating on the water, to keep him from drowning.

  I really think this hard line approach is what will see to it that they going down. The GB and thier Nethanim(sp?) helpers are "too old" to effectively handle the problems the organization is facing, they really need younger, flexible and more creative minds, to deal with these problems. Hearing about GB member Loesch's talks at the convention show just how pathetically stupid these men have become and really are. The GB will only pick people to be in thier close association that are just as stupid as they are and it is showing all the time, where ever they show up and give talks, especially when the go on thier little rants that show thousands of JWs just how petty they really are.
