Does anyone know the names and ages of all the present members of the Governing Body, please?

How many of these might be suffering from some sort of dementia? (That's a serious question by the way, I know they're all totally 'nuts' really, but I'm talking about medically speaking).

Henschel's successor as chief legal officer is Don Adams, 75, a longtime insider who has spent 54 years at the world headquarters in Brooklyn Heights. He was born in Oak Park, Ill.

Among his previous assignments, Adams was secretary to Nathan Knorr, the society's third president, and directed world missionary activities.

But, even more significant than the change at the top was the corporate realignment, with three new not-for-profits formed to assume control of U.S. legal and administrative operations.

One will oversee construction of houses of worship and technical assistance. Another will supervise personnel. A third will direct a wide range of congregational services.

The new No. 2 man, although he is not identified as such, is Max Larson, 85, president of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc., which handles all legal matters, owns all U.S. facilities, and provides emergency relief.

Six other ''experienced ministers'' are joining Adams as directors of the new nonprofit corporations. All already held various administrative posts at headquarters.

''Basically,'' said chief spokesman James Pellechia, ''Don [Adams] will sign the legal papers.''

Since the new arrangement went into effect in 2000, being President of the Watchtower is not the big deal that it was in the days of Russell, Rutherford and the two headed Knorr/Franz. They were each in turn President and head of the governing body. Now the governing body is separated from the secular business operations guys, because the governing body has to concentrate REALLY HARD to understand the sub-space transmissions from Alcyone (the seat of Jehovah's throne in the Pleiades constellation, according to early Rutherford).

Thanks jgnat - so how does the dividing into the three different coorporations protect the WTBTS from lawsuits?

And also, what is Theodore Jaracz position in all of this then?

It looks like there are only ten members of the GB still alive and the ages of a few are considerable. However, what's with the spring chickens?!

M. Stephen Lett born in 1949 - seriously past the 1935 date in which the gates of heaven were supposed to be shut to furthur annointed!!

Gerrit Losch - born 1941. Guy H Pierce was only one year old when the gates were shut!

David H Splane - born in 1944.

Is Carey W Barber still alive!! If he is he's one hundred years old!!

Nathan Natas - Too funny! I wonder if they have to turn their hearing aids up to understand him aswell. Hope no one tells their geriatric psychiatrists about these transmissions.
