Surely someone will offer you a BibleStudyTM. They will ask what area you are from, with the agenda of figuring out which congregation the area is served by. Some poor sistaTM is gonna get the third degree!
I like the idea of a press badge. Elders will stumble over each other trying to impress you and get on the evening news, or into the local paper. Got a dictaphone you can carry with you and speak into?

When is the convention in the uk. I was invited by the guy I study with but I dont know the dates. Can I just turn up as Joe Public?
the manchester one at men arena is 1st to the 3rd of july,
i will be there i was dreading going but now im excited after reading all these great ideas, i defo want to do something, i know loads that go and only got dfed a couple of months ago so could maybe talk to people without them knowing im dfed, but not sure how i could get that to work for our benefit. going undercover somewhere is prob a much better idea.
there is a barbeque in the uk i think its the week after the convention, is anyone going to that?
Another Idea just came to me:
Go to the convention with a t-shirt with say the silent lambs or UN message on the back, but wear a suit jacket to cover it. If you get caught doing some apostadeeds and they ask you to leave or your just feeling brave take off your jacket durring the intermission and start walking around the the place in plain view.
The last time I went to a convention I brought "C of C" and "Combating Cult Mind Control" in my book bag, sat close to the front row and in a main thourogh fare with lots of traffic. During the very start of the session I open these books and started reading one of them holding them up conspicuously for all to see and puting the other one in plain sight.
I was noticed by the attendances right away, Soon the whole section around me was thining out. I did this from the begining of the morning saturday session until afternoon break. They did not say anything to me, until I got up durring the afternoon break break, and started walking around with one of the books in my hand. Soon six of the biggest attendants, surrounded me and asked me to leave, I refused and they said they would have me arrested if I didn't. Finally I ageeded and started to leave, they they tried to shuttle me out in conspicuously out some back way, but I refused, and said I'm not parked over in that area and thier way was the long way and did not agree to go out of the colusium the way they directed. So they proceeded to surround me as I was leaving and going the way "I" choose.
What I did was walk around the entire hall way followed by these six goons it looked really funny being tailed by these guys who were within an arm lenght from being following me from behind and in front. And they got mad because I was just walking in circles, I lied and told them, I just need to get my bearing so I took them for another tour around the Cow Palace and then went outside to the parking area. They followed me to my car and then had 4 brothers follow my car 2 in front and 2 in back to make sure I left the parking lot. Talk about being paranoid they sure were.LOL

The story I heard was that the "watchers" (surveillance) had identified an apostate in the stands and replaced other JWs with "attendants". He was then escorted out. Of course then version I heard was extolling the power and efficiency of the security.
If any of you are going to consider going to the DC undercover, perhaps you could print some tracts off of one of the sites that might have one on computer paper, and then bring a stack along in your purse or coat pocket. When you go into the bathroom, you could leave the stack on top of the back of the toilet, or put holes in the top and hook them onto the hook of the bathroom stall door, or on top of the TP roll. That way, no one would see you, and the person that went in after you wouldn't know if you left them or not!
