What is the point of all this insistance on reporting cases of child abuse, If the court is going to let the perpetrator walk away scot free???? I guess it helps if you are rich and famous!

The legal system is not based on smoke. It is based on fire.
If you would like to change the legal system so unsubstansiated allegations made by people with a history of extortion, supported by the testimony of disgruntled former employees, is enough evidence for convicting someone of a crime, then write to your representative.
Until then be glad that if you're in court they'll actually have to prove you are guilty, rather than just saying you are guilty because some people say you are and putting you in jail.

I feel really sick about this verdict.
I heard CNN say there were dozens of witnesses for the prosecution. If this (accused) child molester can get off with so much evidence, what about all those accused with less witnesses (which is most)? It's really disheartening.
One of the jurors was on CNN this a.m. saying the reason she voted not guilty is because one of the prosecutor's witnesses made a face at her or some such nonsense.
What happened to the pornography charge?
a guy admits to sharing a bed with children and gets off.
Let's take that a bit further:
