Neonmadman is correct, the copyright is held by WTB&TS; in this case they don't have to reveal individual or team of authors, but only the original publication date is important.
I think WTS silence on this is more practical: if they acount for the 2 or 3 books on the CD which (I now think may be) still protected, then they are also giving the gren light to me releasing the other 14 - 15 books on the CD, which would therefore be unprotected. And you know they don't want that!
Heck, they could have just listed the (supposedely) protected works in their original C&D; instead they resorted to the amorphous "many" -- their lawyers speak with the same shocking imprecision as the Watchtower and Awake!. Maybe they got their college/law degree from four years of reading the Watchtower??? ;)
