I know a famous golpher who talked to the Devil once about Hell. And the Devil took him down to hell for a tour. He escorted him thru this huge door, and on the other side he found an 18-hole golph course that was out of this world, right there in hell.

They wandered over the course, while he feasted his eyes on this unbelievable sight. Then he turned to the devil and said "But Hell isn't at all like everyone has been saying it is. It's beautiful down here!"

"That's right" the devil told him, "That's why I gave you this tour."

Then the devil and the golpher walked over to the tee-off spot for the first hole. The golpher picked out his favorite club, getting ready to hit his first ball. Then he looked around for a golph ball. Not finding any, he asked the devil for a golph ball.

"That's the hell of it," the devil replied, "There are no golph balls in hell........."

'here here' on the masturbation thing. It's an impossible ask of a young person going through puberty who is expected to remain celebate in this world. It's cruel, and unnecessarily demoralising for those poor young people who are told they have a 'problem'. Makes me grrrrrrrr just thinking about it.

I know that Satan and is legions of wayward angels are a manmade construct, just as is the case with any supernatural being. I know how real those forces can seem when you believe, and that the mind is an amazing thing. I don't doubt that certain people believe these good & negative forces into being, and that for them they seem very real. This is a form of psychosis, but if it works for you, and give you some sort of answer to the meaning of life, then good for you. frog x

I wondered as a young man how I was sposed to have no desire when single but when I got married just turn the tap on, so to speak, ha ha .

It appears from earlier responses that some current jws have taken up a different form of wanking as they got older.

now that you are out, and no longer have "holy spirit", you could try a little experiement. try calling out to satan and his minions out loud, and ask for something. i have been "testing" the so-called supernatural since i left the dubs. and i report that so far, nothing.

as a witness, i was always taught that satan could not read your thoughts, but could hear you speak and could read body language (hee hee hee ). so now that you don't have any angels protecting you anymore, give it a shot. nothing will happen. nothing ever happens with that crazy dude satan, or his dim wit daddy jehovah. sure people say they do not respond for certain reasons, but that just really sounds like convinient excuses to moi.

when Job's wife said "curse god and die", she had it right. she must have known nothing would happen. Job must have had a nasty ancient STD and been a victim of natural disaster all in the same week.

Good point, tetrapos. In fact I did this already, when still inside the Borg and when mentally free. Because if there is a Satan,then maybe I could believe there is a God. But as you said 'so far nothing'.
Or of course he is a smart ass, and knows hat I am thinking. But then if he would be really smart he would not be a lion but a nice kitty cat, and prove God a liar in that way :)

It can be serious I think. Because you get screwed up persons. Maybe that is one of reasons child abuse seems dominant under JW (and catolic priests for that matter). If you grow up as child with the feeling that you are always not good... yek

If you ask satan for something he isn't nessesary going to give it to you remember he wants nothing more than to see you suffer so he is not going to give you 'pleasure'

He is not your slave so he is not going to give you your requests.
