The closest I ever got to eating bugs was when I was drunk enough to swallow that worm in the bottom of the tequilla bottle. Once was quite enough, thank you!

Ewwww! Sorry, the idea of eating bugs grosses me out. I'd like to think that if I was starving I could overcome my disgust, but who knows.
LOL on the mudbugs. I'm not even good about eating whole lobster. I've only done it once, but I found it messy and lost my appetite pretty quickly. Didn't like that I got one with roe either. ick. Not a good New Englander in this respect at all.

I've eaten crickets and silkworms in Thailand(and ants if I remember rightly).
