Thanks for the offer but more recent ones, are needed, ones that show them aged, and in need of being put to pasture, and not dictating how a person should live thier life, pictures that show them as they are now can be a real eye opener to lurkers.

I probably won't get too many pictures because of the very real threat to those that post them, in that they migh be identified and DF'd.

But you might be able to post a picture if you have sent them to many of the friends you correspond with on the net, and thier by claim you didn't post them but it must have been some one else that got a hold of the pictures which you sent out to many of the friends.

What is their "scriptural" reasoning on this date anyway? This "cutting-off" date for the annointed in 1935 was mentionned over and over again, but it seems completely unfounded on scripture. It seems that it was all based on some special talk that was given in the year. I always used to question this date when i was going tomeetings but i never got a satifying answer.

I really doubt that even Scholar with his twisted loyal JW logic would be able to come up with a scriptural reason why 1935 was a date set in stone 1914 + 21 years? 607 + 1 gaziilion years?

yah I can't remember all that mumbo jumbo on the anointing cutoff . I think it had something to do with the pentacost year . Anyone with info feel free to post . My point was that they did change a generation to mean any generation that witnesses the tribulation or some such thing . I even saw somebody post a belief that we are in the tribulation according to the WTBTS . I don't have a problem with the belief that some fall away from the faith and thus others are given opportunity because it is in line with the apostle writings , many are called yet few are chosen . To say that 1935 is a cutoff date is a bit of a stretch for me .
