So...I'm in a relationship,where my man lies alot about his gambling problem.Of course...
The thing is he tells me all MEN lie and basically saying...like him.(Also I will never find a man that won't lie)
I know everyone may say lil ,harmless white lies once inawhile,but really now? *rolls eyes*
So I would like as many mens' opinions and women to if they like,on this subect that ALL MEN lie ,big time lies.
To add,I don't think thats true at all that all men are like that.

Shera, neither do I. They aren't all like that. Sorry for what you are going through.
I agree, not all men are like that. Your guy will carry on making excuses for himself until he admits he has a problem. sad that the one with the problem is usually the last to realise it.

Shera, Everyone has lied and no one can say conclusively that they will never lie. I dont feel like I'm a LIAR, in the context of something as important as this.
So not only does he not tell you the truth, but denys responsiblity. YIKES!

No, all men don`t lie. However, all gamblers lie. At least, till they start dealing with the problem.
It`s a horrible thing to be, and to live with. I will never forget the nite I was so angry at my ex for putting 50 bux in the machines, that I burned the other 50 that was left when he got home.
Yup! I lit it over the kitchen sink. He rushed into the room and said `What are you doing?` (horrified, he was!) I told him ,, `the same thing you just did down at the pub,,, wasting our grocery money`.
First and foremost, he is lying to himself. Therein lies the problem

Personally, I hate liars. I don't want to become what I hate. I got rid of my best friend of 19 years because of his lies, manipulation, and vengeful attitude. I've confronted him about things that I knew he did, and he didn't take responsibility for his actions. He lied right to my face, so I kicked him out of my life.
As for your man's gambling problem, that's something serious. "Little white lies" aren't going to cover up financial difficulty. The unfortunate thing is he's the only one who can do something about it. People may try to give him advice or even force him to deal with his problem, but it won't go away unless *he* does something about it.
My father has a gambling problem, so I know what it's like dealing with someone like this. When I lived at home, he was constantly borrowing money from me. He'd do anything that would benefit him financially. He's always looking for the get rich quick scheme which attracts him to the casino. Recently he won $2000, and he put it all back into the machine hoping to get more. It's sad thinking of all the money he's wasted, and how much better off he would be if he didn't waste it all.
I am on my third husband, and let me tell you all 3 are major liars. But I am honest with myself, I have chosen to be with 3 dysfunctional men because I have co-dependency issues. But lieing majorly gets on my nerves because I am a pretty up-front and open person, and I'm pissed off that I am married to another liar.
This husband doesn't lie because he has drug and alcohol issues like my first 2 spouses--he lies for other reasons, like covering up his addiction to pornography. I can't promise this marriage will work out any better than my first 2, because basically I absolutely hate it when people lie to my face--it pisses me off worse than what they are trying to cover up.
I believe all people lie at one time or another either directly or indirectly. Having said that, it's not good to be a liar----plain and simple. If you can't trust a person, the relationship's doomed!
Consider his motives.
HE is not lieing because he hates you.
Surely he loves you and doesn't want you to think of him in a bad way.
Only you know the depth of the lies and what his motives are.
