I don't have Ray Franz's book so could somebody tell me about that rumor that got the GB all upset at bethel back in 1980????

It had to do with a rumor that when old Saul dies, something about hoping for the death of a overbearing GB member that some were looking forward to and expressing it to others. It may have been about Grant Siuter now that I think about it.

The point is that some of the big wigs actually talk hopefully of the death of certain GBs. I bet that sort of thing is till going on at bethel.

Some at bethel ( Ray and others) realized that the great crowd will be standing before the thone just like the 144,000. Meaning that ALL will be in heaven not just 144,000.

* (footnote) Persumably the reference was to the corporation president (Fred Franz), some apparently believing (mistakenly so) that the presidency still represented the power base it had occupiedup until 1976.

Yes that's it!

I bet you those type of rumors are still going around about certain GB members. I'm sure many just can't wait for Ted Jaracz to die so that things might change!!

I also wonder about the intense jealousy that must exist when someone gets promoted to GB or Nethinim, I bet thier are alot of struggling and back bitting going on right now at bethel.

I'm sure quite a few hate the newest GB members.
