The Alternative Religion of the Watchtower is a Poison, an Infection, a Contagion. What is the nice way to warn others away from it?

Here in North Carolina, we have a current problem with rabid foxes. They are going door-to-door and biting Mothers and Children. Once bitten, these poor folks have got to resort to radical treatment. It is not nice. It hurts like hell. It saves their lives.

The Watchtower is like those foxes.

Maybe so, but MommieDark had a point as well. Some times a real hard kick in the ass is better for waking people up than a soft whisper in the ear.

Peace be with you. I will make sure to explain away the behaviour to get to the message.

I would think that statement of obvious facts is more benficial way to get the message across than being offensive.

But each to his own I guess. Please do not stop sharing your message - it is a valuable one!! While I would rather have it conveyed in a way showing maturity than appear as though it was done by a rebellious adolescent I would rather it was told than not told.

I will not be adding any more to this thread - my motive was to appeal to your sense of decency not to provoke you!!

Thanks for your web site it was the one of the first ones I ever went to.

At first I found myself agreeing with msil, but the logic of others here got me thinking. No-one here is like anyone else and therefore it's different strokes for different folks. If Kent is too confrontational for some, then they should not read a thread he's started; there are some here whose attitude and style is not my cup of tea, so I simply don't read their threads. As is stated above, some probably need the "in your face" approach, and those are the ones that Kent is serving. There are other moderate posters who post stuff which appeals to the middle-of-the-roaders.

Then there're the plain, common garden variety arseholes, like YK, Fred and Dunsscot. LOL

First the person is offended, but they will never forget what it was that offended them. It might just be the thing that gets them out. Maybe it's a good thing for them to see that people are hurt and angry about how they've been treated by the WTS.
