What did the CO talk about on Tuesday afternoons?

I don't know if this is a global policy, but the CO would usually meet with the body of elders on Tuesday and discuss the congregation and the brother's report cards.

If you were an elder and experienced this, what kind of questions did the CO ask? Did he start the "recommendation" process then and there after reviewing the publishers report cards?

It must have changed or depends on the CO. The last 3 COs have saved it all for Friday night. They might meet briefly with the PO to go over the accounts but I checked my elder sources and both said he waits until the elders are all together to dump on them.

The COs feel they have busy schedules with little personal time. From Sunday evening to Tuesday evening is their time off from the joyful duties in the congregations.

    Loved your post....

"The COs feel they have busy schedules with little personal time. ; From Sunday evening to Tuesday evening is their time off from the joyful duties in the congregations."

Nothing like full time devotion to Jehovah - mind, soul, body, and strength; until the golf match, or boat ride - COs love that game fishing in Florida.

But what about the "no time off from Jehovah " policy?

The CO meets briefly with the PO on Tuesday to pick up the congregation records and the forms for who's working with the CO & wife, and feeding CO & wife.

I know a few COs that have keys to the KHs and will instruct the PO to leave the records after the meeting on Sunday, and the COs picks up the records whenever they feel like doing it on Monday or Tuesday. I also know CO that instructs the PO or Secretary to bring the records to his apartment.

There isn't anything of "importance" discussed at this time, that is reserved for the Elder & MS meeting on Friday night.

Friday night. Oh the politics. "ok you lowly ministerial servants; the fluff has been covered; go home now it's time for the big boys to talk." Oh how I hated Friday nights.

Except for the odd tidbit on how things were really working around the area and country.

While this is generally the case it depends on the CO. Some of them use this time to gossip about the other elders this is usually why the PO meets with him though any elder can. The PO is normally the one with the brownest nose so he usually will volunteer and dish out his thoughts and views on the other elders, not all PO's do this but many of them will. Its a pretty much understood thing that CO's like to have 1 or 2 elders as moles in each Cong. so that he can get inside info on the others. Its all a sham!

i beg to differ...most important meeting of the week cos it allows the p.o to get his bit in without anybody refuting it and then the rest of the week everything seems to back up what he said

tijkmo, of the - if you're the first to speak you get to sow the seeds of doubt..appearance is all that matters now..it's all they care about - class

I wonder what they do on their time off ... go back to their little society funded house and shag like bunnies probably. I mean it must be awkward the rest of the week staying in a strangers house - I imagine they wouldn't want to mess up the sheets etc or make any noise...

Moreover, this I say, brothers, the time left is reduced. Henceforth let those who have wives be as though they had none
