Why on the decorating shows from the UK do they not use paint rollers? They often show them painting an entire room with small brushes. Just curious. carla

We didnt get where we are today by using rollers. We built an empire using those silly little brushes and we are not about to start changing things now.
If we are to remain in our position as a world leading industrialised country we cannot afford to start making fundamental internal decoration changes.

Normally we just stick mud and straw on the walls (sometimes with a bit of cow dung in). It's called "wattle and daub". We don't have new fangled equipment yet.

Speaking of paint. Have you ever looked at these enormous cans of heavy paint and wondered how much extra weight they add to your home? Do you realize that hanging above your head is 56lb's of ceiling paint?
