Would anyone be up for some sort of cookout / barbeque sort of thing somewhere in the Northeast in the next few weeks, perhaps around Labor Day? Being in Providence, just about anywhere from NCY to Boston would work for me. We could drink beer, make smores, and tell stories. Absolutely no preaching or tales of having found salvation allowed.

No, not a Lobstofest. I am thinking of something far less involved - and DEFINATELY not to be held at casa Chuck. You are most certainly on the "A" list for the next Lobstofest though!

Why would you feel a need to be in disguise? Would you be hiding your identity from the folks at Brooklyn HQ, or from those of us who would be holding the event?
being how some of the elders in my cong serve at Bethel..................i thinks a disguise might be best
I see. Well, I can tell you that when the time comes for you to "come out" (to borrow a metaphor) and be yourself, it is a wonderful feeling.
Of course, until then you can use the old fake beard disguise, which was always a favorite among those elders who had a need to visit the porno theater back in the pre-VCR days.
i understand this tactic was populuar for michael jackson when watchtowers were a quarter, and he was in service......will prince be next
