ceiling mounted flat screen--probably one of those in-van DVD players. Unless there was a satellite dish, can they get TV reception. Of course that doesn't mean it couldn't have been a porn DVD or an evangelical DVD.

I have seen brothers run out to their car during the breaks to listen to the game on the radio.

I have also never seen a KH that piped the program outside. I guess there weren't any near neighbors to complain. I'm surprised no one complained about the people outside.

That's right Satanus ... I had four children while in the b0rg - that means for YEARS I could take a break in the bathroom or mother's room ! Sometimes they were sooooooo fidgety I could spend almost the entire meeting in there talking with the other 'sisters'. Of course I breastfed too - imagine whipping out a tig-ol-bittie in the main hall to feed a baby .

Actually now they can hide a satellite dish in the outside mirrors of your vehicle! So they could have been watching TV but I dont' think there was even a game on of any import I think they were just board and out watching TV...

The outside speaker is the new thing down here I think all the halls have them they aren't really loud so if you get more than 25-35 feet away you lose the sound... Almost all the people were twice or three times that far no doubt they didn't want to hear that crap AT ALL!

About 2 years ago, someone borke into a car in the parking lot of our hall. The Elders made a rule saying that 2 brothers should walk the lot every 15-20 minutes. Well let me tell you, we all volunteer for that blessed priviledge!!

We will bring cards and play them on people's trunks. It's great!

And yes, sometimes we go out there and there will about 20 people asleep in their cars "because I'm sick"....

Wow, Richie, 20 people in their cars? LMAO! What a riot...and they're all sick too. It's an epidemic! I don't think they needed the brother-patrol when so many were already out sitting in their cars. I think if I was a thief, I'd avoid that particular parking lot.

Not far from the truth. I knew a few brothers who needed pick me ups on Sunday mornings after their Saturday night vodka and lobster bashes. It was a question of who would go first, then the procession - usually between games (meetings). Though there were mornings during a Scripture lookup someone stumbled out for a guzzle. Mind you, they were thankful, always giving thanks.
