The GB of the WTS has to clarify the issue of the WTS ownership by choosing one of the two points below as the valid one but not both.
1. The WTS is an organisation belonging to humans, a business that just like any other human business has its owners that demand to have the right to exert total control over its affairs and to exclude from it all outsiders. These owners are the shareholders, unknown in this case.
2. The WTS is an organisation belonging to God and all worshippers of God have the right to a say on how it should be run.
Up to now the GB has refused to clarify the above issue they behave as if the WTS belongs to a narrow inner circle of JWs who demand total control over it at the exclusion of every one else on the basis of human corporate laws that legitimise such an ownership.
And at the same time they claim that people should obey and serve this organisation as belonging to God and not to humans, it is Jehovah's organisation.
What I know is that historically the WTS was started by Russell in the 1870’s who sold his business interests for $330 000 (that equate to 5.5 million of today’s dollars, yes he was a multi millionaire in fact) and used this capital to start up the massive WTS printing business. It’s a business that surely belongs to humans and the GB demand for total control over it proves it.
The WTS and questions of its ownership.

Honesty
The WTBTS is owned by Satan da Debil.

If you need to be a shareholder, an investor in the WTS (or at least be authorised by them)in order to have a say in the way it is run or be shown its financial records that makes it a human organisation that has nothing to do with God. The GB are authorised by the shareholders not jehovah.

Netty thanks but they got the data wrong, 11 months and 30 days which looks like a year, my birthday is on July 26th but thanks anyway for the anniversary wishes. Good that people can celebrate birthdays after dumping the manmade burdens imposed by the borg.

I had it corrected birthday is on 26/7 not on 7/7 which made me 19 days older than I really am.

The more I read on here, the more I think the WTBTS is a very smart business operation.Recruiting an unpaid workforce - how clever is that? The lack of genuine love shows that these members are dispensible, and as long as they don't 'make waves' (thus maybe damaging further
business, sales, what's the word I'm looking for?) they have served a purpose. A good turnover of free labour. Baptise them young and get more years out of them.KIDNAPPING - Taking a loved one until ransom is paid? - I see you're all ahead of me here. Has disfellowshipping always been a WTBTS policy? If it was dissolved tomorrow and members were given a choice to walk away if they didn't believe (and suffer no shunning), how many would? I think we all know - and so do the GB - in which case it isn't FAITH or love for the Org that is keeping a vast amount of its members. Keep Spirituality to yourselves and show us figures we can publish.
The irony of Russell's Pyramid is, he created the ultimate pyramid scheme.

Excellent points MC the shunning policy is intentionally calculated to be very cruel so as to act as an effective deterrent against those wishing to challenge the GB's authority and prestige, it's a political weapon in other words.
And by not making it clear that they see this org as a business owned and controlled by human shareholders they then dupe their adherents into thinking that it is God's org and make them work for it without a reward from the real owners, those human shareholders. -

I don't mind the shareholders and their executive appointees exclusively controlling their org as long as they make it clear that it is their org to all dubs and stop calling it jehovah's org, in that case their yes is a yes.
Then they don't say "yes it's our org and ah no it's jehovah's org"
