As Jesus came out of the temple and was going away, his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. 2 Then he asked them, ‘You see all these, do you not? Here is the Messiah!” or “There he is!” --do not believe it.e 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce great signs and omens, to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.f 25 Take note, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, “Look! He is in the wilderness,” do not go out. If they say, “Look! He is in the inner rooms,” do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. 29 ‘Immediately after the suffering of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see “the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven” with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 ‘From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates.

If you are struggling with your faith donkey pray to god/jehovah and the holy spirit to guide you and to help you, be willing to accept also where he is guiding you.

How the fall of the 1914 date throws everything out, the jws didn't expect that 607 BC date established in the 19th century to be overturned as archaeology progressed in the 20th century.
It's not the first time they were caught telling lies to the world, all they can do is to stubbornly defend a discredited date because it is so crucial to their cult the only people in the world that believe it. There was also a lot of pyramidology involved. -

All of that makes perfect sense - AS long as King Zedekiah was removed by Nebuchadnezzar in 607BCE. Here is where I need the help. Can you prove to me that King Zedekiah's reign ended in 607BCE?
No, not so. We are not looking for that.The Bible says the desolation is 70 years. It says that repeatedly. 2 Chronicles, Jeremiah, Daniel. We know that 607 is the beginning of that desolation because it ended in 537. We can do math you know. Now, the educated scholars seem to believe that a 70 year desolation is really 50 years as they think that 587- 70 = 537.
No one can prove anything or any year from those past times. I have never seen a newspaper from Babylon or Jerusalem with the date of 587 or 607 or anything. That is why Jesus was asked for a sign of his presence and he gave a sign of his presence, rather than a year.
And There are others outside the Bible Students who believe that 2520 years is a prophetic period beginning with the destruction of Israel and ending in our times. There are numerous sites. Too numerous to post here. Some believe it began in 721 when Assyria took Israel and end in 1776 or 1799. They hold that the US is of prophetic significance. Others believe it is 604 and end in 1917 when Gen Allenby marched to Jerusalem. They hold that Israel is of prophetic significance. Others believe other things. If 587 is the starting point then it would end in 1934. What happened in 1934? Nothing of significance compared to 1914.
But one must consider not numbers alone but the scriptures in totality, their fulfillment in totality and their teachings of the end times.
It does not sound like you had faith if apostates can destroy it by numbers.

Faith and blind faith are two seperate things. How much more do you need to be shown that IT IS A LIE? See if the society will allow you to have "faith" enough to disagree with the chronology while still staying a good Dub?

The WTS sure does like to harp on that phrase doesn't it? They don't give a person the chance OR the opportunity to strengthen their "faith" by testing what they've learned in waters not to their liking, do they.
They take liberties with that word "faith" by not completing the thought that they are attempting to convey. We ALL know that they mean that a JWs "faith" in the WTS is what is in question and not "faith" in God in general. THAT is where we find the discrepancy, isn't it.
MY "faith" in the WTS was badly shaken when I discovered what deliberate LIARS they were, and had been for years and years. I didn't go "looking" for this information, it rather fell into my lap. I tried and tried and tried again to defend the WTS (and my) beliefs but kept coming up empty.
So "my faith" in the WTS sadly (at the time I felt) fell to nothing. I was back at square One as I was before I accepted that "free home so-called bible study" from JWs.
Was it because I was at fault? OR was it because THE WTS HAS A CREDIBILITY COUNT OF ZERO when it is fully researched?
I honestly hope that you,Rambaldi, WILL research everything and anything about the org that you have dedicated your life to following, even as they stealthily creep and slither further and further away from what Christ taught, stood for and died for.
Of course you won't find TRUE research inside the WTS publications because basically they are all faulty. The dented pan they speak of has become even more dented as the years go by. They simply cover up one lie with another and present this as AHA!!! New Light! to the applause of the very ones they are duping.
Having recovered from the shock of realizing that MY faith in a slick publishing company pretending to be a religion, now I find that my FAITH in GOD and his son is thriving and so am I as a person. I don't see how I could have believed all that contrived crap for so many years. It has new meaning when you can step back and SEE what it was (and IS) from a comfortable distance.
The WTS end shall be according to its works, and it's "works" are NOT from Christ.
