A hearty welcome. I also had a non-JW husband and I know how futile it is to try and explain emotions after being DF'd to someone who's never been a JW, regardless of how much you love each other. That is why you will prosper being here.

Welcome! I'm a newbie too, wasn't df'd...but did have a non-JW husband. This group is great! The group for the most part ared JW bashers and we have some pretty wonderful discussions. Most important, everyone here seems to feel each others pain and with such a diverse group there's always plenty of help and suggestions!

It's a great place to be!

Welcome! My husband is non JW, which is good, but bad too. It helps so much to have people who understand our background.

    FeelingLost,

Welcome to JWD. I don't think you have to worry about being accepted here.

Our battle is not with the Jehovah's Witnesses as individuals. Most JW's are very sincere and well-meaning. It's just that we who have left that JW religion feel strongly that we have been lied to and deceived by the leadership at the top, and we regard the Organization as very controlling and manipulative, and we have many good reasons for feeling the way we do.

If you are "feeling lost" these days, it may be because you are unsure what to think or believe anymore. Perhaps you have a number of doubts that have shaken your faith, and you don't know what to do with your feelings and thoughts, fearing that you may reap the displeasure of the JW Elders if you disclose them.

If you were to spend some time here on this forum, I am pretty sure you will find a lot of wisdom from some very knowledgeable and experienced individuals who can help you sort a lot of this out for you in a way that can help you to think more clearly about your own situation. As you assimilate this info, some ideas will begin to germinate, and you will be in a better position to develop some strategies about what to do next, and how to deal with things effectively. Much of this will be to give you encouragement, and to help strengthen your resolve with whatever you decide to do.

You will discover here that you are not alone, and that many, many people have gone thru so much of what you are going or have gone thru. You will also discover that all us "Apostates" are not the wicked and evil characters the Watchtower Society makes us out to be.

All the best to you with your future endeavors.

    Rod P.

Welcome...You will find much encouragement and many friends here. If it wasn't for the people on this board I would still be trying to cope with all of my jw related problems.
