Could be but it's back is so dark but that would match the redspot and also the small pointed beak. Very cute...I hope he/she survives.

Awww ! That's too bad, Shera. At least you tried. I'm no bird watcher, but I like birds, too. I like to hear them singing in the morning, ecpecially. We have a parakeet, and everyday, I put out a handful of wild bird seed in front of the window, so he can watch the wild birds eat as the day goes on. Good girl for trying to save it.

Thanks,my sister was just about to leave to bring him to a wild life vet too,buried the lil fella in my backyard.
I did give him lil scritches on his head and he seemed to like it.(with gloves on)
