have wondered the same things about ray. but it's really just from him being so down to earth that we don't know much about him. like blondie says, he's just enjoying life. good for him.
Did he start his own religion?
Zagor....I know you meant well.......but if you read either two of his books, you'd dismiss the idea he may have started his own religion. That's the LAST thing this man would do with his life.

The life of Ray Franz would make an incredibly compelling documentary...it would appeal way beyond the ex-dub community, its a genuine human interest story...Absolutely. And would it not be interesting if such a documentary came out at just around the same time KNOCKING did its 'piece'?
I doubt the "Knocking" producers will even be mentioning Rays name in their pro-borg documentary coming to PBS.

That is what I would hope will happen in the near future. Perhaps Barb can inspire him to do such. I would hope too, that Ray has already done so without anyones inspiration.

He is around. About 3 hours away from me by automobile. He's a Christian who doesn't force his beliefs on people. He also got a raw deal from the borg and isn't bitter at all with the individuals involved in the deceit and cover-ups that went on. Just a nice senior citizen waiting to go home.
I just left the Society last month and read all his first book and I am through about half of his second. They are GREAT! Anyway I found a web site that had Peter Gregerson as one of the board members on it so I e-mail him and he forwarded it to Raymond Franz and he (Raymond Franz)got back to me. He is having a quiet life after his book "crisis of conscience" became the "bible" of the ex jws.

As for Ozzie, lately dear I have noticed that you are a little abrupt. Perhaps relaxing will remove that abrupt nature you have. I know we all have different personalities, but why try and analyze everyword someone uses in their posting? Perhaps if you disagree a private pm would be more appropriate. Now as regards our esteemed friend Ray Franz I can only say that I have the utmost respect for this dear man. He has a great amount of courage as does anyone who leaves that organization that we have all come to dislike so greatly. And for very valid reasons. I respect this dear person very much and I sincerely pray that the true God will bless him for his convictions. And may he and all of us recieve many blessings. with much love Orangefatcat. |

My point was that there comes a point where we invade an individual's privacy. On JWD as you are all too aware we are very cautious about revealing others' personal details. Now if that's abrupt - stiff! But none of us have the right to speculate about others we come into contact with. So.....
now as far as a rest goes - well, you must have been missing the news but believe me I have been resting! well, some might call it that!!
